Child on I 551 re-entry permit + GC replacement (below 5 years old)

Hi all.

Anyone here has any experience applying for Replacement GC for child's GC and re entry permit?

1. Does the child has to be present for biometrics?
2. Can the application be done without the child's being present in the USA?

The process for applying for a replacement GC for a child is more or less the same process for an adult.

Yes the child needs to be present for the biometrics too - child's picture and thumbprints needs to be captured.
