Change status from B1 to H1B, if H1B change status rejected then what is my B1 status?

Hi All,

I been to US for the period June 2012 to August 2012 on B1 (I-94 was 6months). My employer had applied for change of status to H1B in June 2012month.
I returned back to India in August 2012.
Today when I verify my visa status it saying RFE.
My question is, if my H1B petition rejected what about my existing B1 visa which is valid till 2020.
And what is the chance level to get my H1B change status get approved.

My current location is INDIA
H1B status change petition is applied in USA (June 2012)
