Any body in the same boat. My LUD changed yesterday stating my case has been transfered to StPaul MN. How long does it take to get an interview. Did anyone have a interview at St Paul.

Inputs appreciated.

I got a mail stating that my case has been transfered to the bloomington office in MN for speedy process. I have yet to recieve the Interview letter. I hope to recieve it by late Jan or early Feb.

Do keep me posted if you have any updates.

Me too

Hi, guys,

Have you received your interview notice? My case got transfered to Minneapolis/St Paul today, I am wondering how long it will take to get the appointment notice and what could be asked in the interview. Do they usually approve the case on the same day for the interview? Please share your information. Thanks

Nothing, I haven't even got the transfer notice letter from USCIS (I knew my case was transferred when I checked my status on-line). Did you receive any written notice from USCIS stating that your case has been transferred?

My attorney said it will take at least 120 days to get my interview scheduled, which made me very frustrated. What did your attorney say? Do you have any idea how long it will take?

JakeRay, Please keep us posted when you got the interview notice. Your case was transferred before mine and venkatm's, after you got the interview scheduled, ours should be close.

I did recieve a transfer letter stating that the case has been transfered for speedy processing. I spoked to my lawyer regarding time frame and he said i should get the interview letter in 2-3 months.

JakeJay, thanks for your information. I just got my notice letter today. It said for "Speedy Process" as well. No idea whether it is a standard language or not.

I haven't received any letters so far. My case was transfered on 15Dec.
Also there is no words like speed up etc.

Venkatm, It is weird that it took so long for you to receive the transfer notice. You may want to call USCIS to make sure everthing is going well. Good luck!

>>u to receive the transfer notice

WIll i get a paper notice? I got e-mail on 15Dec itself.
I called USCIS. they told me that they will not send any seperate paper notices.

I did get paper notice, about a week after I received the email. In the email, it did mention that a notice will be sent out to me as follows:

... You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. ...

Hope this helps.

thanks for reply.
My 485 filed at Texas center. Seems to be they send the case file directly with e-mail notice.
Where is your case was filed?
Also e-mail text seems to be different from each center.
mine says "interview or take other action on your case"
seems to be interview is sure. one of my fired attened interview ( a year back.) he told just verified employment documents/tax forms & stamped imm'dly.

My case was transferred to St.MN without notifying me after sending REF. to NSC Jan 2002 and online status did not show the transfer. I was inerviewed Sept.2003 at St.Paul MN and was not approved on the spot due to name clearance. My case was approved April 2004 or after five months.

Hope this helps.
