Hi, we have received the I130 approval and are working towards putting together the final documents for the Embassy interview.
My wife is from Venezuela, and we are having a tough time getting the police clearance certificate.
We are aware there is a website, but it seems someone who helped my wife in the past to obtain her passport, registered her cedula number and we can't unlock it.
We would have to send someone to the office in Caracas to unblock her number, to create a new registration and you all guessed it, it's Corona Virus and the Venezuelan government just added an additional 30 days (give or take) to the quarantine.
So we won't be able to get anything done until July and honestly not even sure if we can get it done afterward.
People charge upwards to $200 to unblock the account + for the documents, plus legalizing + apostille.
We are kind of losing our minds at this point. Any help or advice?
