I want to apply for Canadian Visa
I am an Asylee

What do I choose in the "Immigration Status for Applicant" ?
Permanent Resident or I choose Other and write "Asylee" ?

and it says Valid Until ___/___/______ ?

What to write ?

U should write Permanent Resident, valid indefinately. This what I wrote on my wife's application. She got it.

Thts wrong. You are not a Permanent resdient. You should write Asylee adn valid indefintely.

Actually WantmyGc, I quite agree with you. I am not an expert but I do believe that if you are a Permanent resident there is no need for a Visa to Canada.But as an asylee you might need a visa depending on your original country.

Thats not what I meant. The post above was mentioninig to write Permanent resident even if you are an asylee..which was a wrong thing to write.
