I recently graduated from an accredited Canadian University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and specialized in Mechatronics. I have taken a few programming courses (python/matlab). I got an offer as a Software Engineer in the US. Can I apply for a TN visa under the “engineering” occupation. I’ve heard that many people have done it.
How hard is it to get accepted in such a case? What should the job description look like? No programming should be mentioned at all?
If I get rejected, can I simply leave and come back again to the border?
