hello!

My American gf and I met online, I went down to states to see her 3 times already in my last visit we got the marriage, our wedding took a place in April in Arizona. After the wedding I’m going to start the spousal sponsorship process to live in Canada.
My question is do I still need to apply for the K-1 visa even tho we aren’t going to live in the states. I’m going back to sponsor her to Canada.

K1 is not applicable to you. K1 visa is for bringing a fiancée/fiancé to the US for the purpose of getting married to a USC and subsequently living in the US in a legal status - it allows for an AOS petition submission. So if:
1. You’re already married, you’re not K1 eligible.
2. You do not intend to live in the US, K1 is not applicable to your situation.

This site deals with US immigration and visa advice. K1 is for US immigration and is not applicable if you don't plan to live in the US.

You need to take a peek at either the Canada sub-forum near the bottom of the Forum homepage, or google Canadian immigration.
