Hi, I already posted this on a previous thread but nobody seems to bother to read it. I really need help on this one as I couldn't find the answer anywhere else. I really appreciate anyone who can shed a light on this.
Here's my situation:
I want to renew my F1 which already expires in June 2005. I am currently doing OPT that ends this November. I already applied and got my I20 from my school. However I need to go back to my home country for personal reasons.
My problem is, my parents bought a house in US using my name. Will the consulate officer have a way of finding this out when I apply for F1 renewal? This will be a negative point for me as buying a property in US will constitute as an intent to immigrate, right?
