Can my B1/B2 Visa revoked if i applied for EB2--lets say denied?

Hi,

I just got my b1b2 visa for a holiday 2 weeks ago and apparently got an offer today for eb2 (PT) visa from my employer in the us.

My worry is that applying for eb2 is automatically interpreted as intent to live in the us, but i am not confident that the eb2 application be successful.

In this case ill get double whammy, that means if my eb2 is denied, does that automatically revoke my b1b2 too?

No. As long as your visa is valid, you can always try to use it to enter the US. You must show that you do not intend to immigrate on that trip every time you enter. Intention to immigrate in the future doesn't mean intention to immigrate now.

A follow-up question

- Lets say my eb2 processing is 4 months, can i use my b1b2 visa to stay in the US while waiting for the results? Will there still be a consulate interview in the US or i have to go back to my country for that purpose?
