Can I submit my spouse I485 later?

Hi!

I wonder whether it would be a problem if I file my I485 first and submit my wife's I485 later? Let say I get approval of my I485, what would be her status? Would she get the US Green Card also?

AFAIK, if ur priority date is current you can add her 485 later . IF not r stuck till ur priority is current and then u can add her 485.
If you are on an h1B, she can maintain her h4b visa status

if ur 485 get approved, then she/he will be out of status, she will have file through cp, that take 3-5 yrs, best is she/he must file before ur 485 get approved provided it is current. If the person not in the country, u both can apply for CP, often that is faster then AOS but much more risky!! So it is upto you to decide???
