My 6 years on H1-B will soon expire (feb 2010) and my employer has applied for labor in Sep 2009 (it is not yet approved).
However I intend to go to B-school next year(2010). Hence would like to convert H1 B to F1.
I have couple of questions:
1. After completing b-school, will i be able to switch back to h1 ( get 7th year extension based on 365 days over for filed Labor Cert.??)
3. If option 2 (7th year extension based on filed labor) doesn't work, Can I apply for fresh H1 or can I use my labor application (if it is approved by that time).??

thanks in advance

Folks, Please help ....!!!!

Hey, Did you find answers that you were looking for? I am in the same boat, and it seems like an old post. It would be great if you can help answer a few questions, in case you know.

1) Can F1 visa be rejected on the grounds that I already have a PERM going? Do I need to take any extra steps while filing F1 because of my PERM?

2) If F1 gets rejected, can I continue on my H1 with the PERM going the way it is today?
