Can a wife of a TN with a TD visa apply for an EAD?

I have a TD and wish to work here in Los Angeles. Can I apply for an EAD as I have tried all these H1B visa sites looking for work and almost all job applications demand for a SSN which I obviously don't have. Getting a company willing to apply for my sponsorship is even harder. #frustrated

I'm also here on a TD visa in LA, my husband's on a TN, but I'm not allowed to work nor apply for an EAD. However, I have been volunteering at an organization for a few months, and they've offered me a job, so now I'm going to apply for my own TD. Maybe you should consider volunteering as a way to get into a company with the hopes of eventually getting a job there. Good luck!
