I think it is taking 2 to 2.5 months approxmatly.

My attorney filed the H1-B extension case for my second 3-year term on May 9, 2006 but the office considered practically as May 19, 2006.

Processing Date on paper receipt: 05/09/2006
Processing Date on USCIS website: 05/19/2006
still waiting for approval notice: 08/18/2006

Hi Guys,

Any update on approvals?
I applied for my 7th year extension on Aug 1st week at CSC. Still no response. Processing dates for h1b extension at csc shows Aug 11th updated on Oct12th. Anyone of you are in the same boat? Is it a common to get delayed even the processing dates passed the receipt notice date.

Any feedback is greatly appreiciated.
