My boyfriend has continued to help his ex with getting her green card by staying married to her. They have a son together and did originally marry for love. They split up over 2 yrs ago and do not live together or share finances. He and I got together a little under 2 yrs ago. But this week, we found out that im pregnant with his child. I am worried about the consequences of them lying about their current relationship. Can they get in trouble for misrepresenting their relationship? Will they look into birth certificates under his name and find out that he just had a child with another woman, and could he get into trouble for it?
