Birth Certificate Translation and Patronymic

Is it fine to omit the translation of patronymic name from birth certificate to avoid name inconsistency for the scenario below:
Name on birth certificate is X patronym Y.
After moving to another country, the passport in this country was issued under the name of X Y (without patronym).
Then last name changed from Y to Z so name change certificate has:
Previous name: X Y
New name: X Z

The b/c should be fully translated “as is” without omission in order for the translated document to be considered accurate.

So would any other documentation need to be provided for the scenario above? It seems they prioritise the name on the birth certificate, which contains a patronym - but the official name change document doesn't include that as the previous name.
