Birth Certificate question

Hi

I will be applyinfg for I-485 for me and my wife. My wife\'s birth certificate is in a non English Language(Hindi). I have got a notarized translated copy of birth certificate from India. Will this suffice

A notarized copy should be fine. check again with the INS website for any requirement.

in my BC, my name was mis-spelled - i got a notorized letter from both my mother and father and included it in the package along with the old one. It was accepted.

Also I have a few more questions

I got my birth certificate from India recently. Do I need a affidavit as this birth certificate is new and my birth was not registered earlier

Also my wife\'s birth certificate does not contain her and her mother\'s name. What affidavits do I need for these issues. If you can send me a link which contains a format of these affidavits it will be great
