Looking ahead for filing 485. The place of birth is Trichy - In the state of Tamilnadu (India). - This is the way it appears on Passport,and marriage certificate.
But - On the Birth certificate issue by the Govt authorities - the place of birth is the City of Tiruchirapalli (the full name of the city).
So, should the place of birth - be stated at the short name or long name. ....?? on the 485 application form
Also, Can we get some document or affidavit from a attorney - stating thet both the names point to the same location.
Had anyone had any experience like this....
