I did get my 140 approved. No news on 485 though.

Anyone knows if I can use AC21 to change jobs as soon as my 6 months of 140/485 application are up? Or do I have to count 6 montsh from the date of my 140 approval.

I believe the rule is that you can change AC21 when both of the foll. has happened

1.> your I-140 has been approved
2.> It has been 6 months or more since you have filed for your I-485

Last Name changed

I have changed my last name. By mistake the middle name was written as last name on SSN, but after a year or so I changed the Social security to the correct last name. Does this has any negative effect on name check? What do they check during name check?

My question is, can I use AC 21 to change jobs. I am working as contractor for a consulting company. I have good relation with my client, Can I do independent consulting. I don't want to continue with the consulting company. Please advice.

Wow CSC processing time is moving fast it is now at Aug 2.. it was June 30 on last post on Feb 23rd.. Hope to see tons of approvals soon..

I still see the date to be June 30th only for both 140 & 485.
