Posting my experience on the visa camp
Posting my experience..
~Showed up at 7am.
~Take a token for your name to be called.
~Your token # will be called around 9am and your application will be checked.
~If accepted, you come back at 6pm to collect your visa.
The volunteers did a great job at this event.
Notes: There was general confusion on whether
a. cash would be accepted..cash is not accepted..money order/cashier's check preferred
b. what documents were needed..plz go thro' the consulate website for needed documents and don't rely on volunteers at the event
c. photos were taken on site if needed, not sure if other visa camps have the same facility.
