My H1B 6 years expire Jan 1st week 2009. What are my options?

Is it good idea to apply for another PERM application through a different employer?

Do I have to leave the country immediately if it gets denied?

I'm in the same boat too..
first applied in Jan 2007 then audited in March 2007, and after that no reply.

My lawyer tells me that we have given all the docs required, but still LCA feels that candidate's qualification does not meet the job description.

Any ideas what could be done? Now we are in the process of re-filing, but will I lose the old priority date?

I'm very upset.

Same with me: original submitted in Dec 07, random audit notice and response submitted in Feb, no response from DOL so far.
Does anyone have any idea how long audits are taking these days, and % that are approved after audit?
