My GC got approved, here is the information.

PD: Nov 2000
RD: Apr 02 2002
ND: Apr 04 2002
Finger print: May 10
Ins recevied May 20
AD: Oct 23 2002.
EB2 India

I have one more quesiton, is there any time period to quit my consulting company or can i quit anytime after my green card approval

Actually, quitting before your GC (and after 180 days of filing I485)approval would have been the best thing.

Now, if you quit yourself then that could raise several issues. You are supposed to stay with the company for a 'reasonable' time after getting your GC, which some people interpret as at least 4-6 mos.

But if they fire you or lay you off then you have no problem.
 
It is advisable to work for the company for at least another 6 months.
If you quit now, you may have problems during your interview for citizenship. I have heard stories about cancellation of GC at the time of citizenship.....
