Approved!!!

My case has been approved on 4/29/2004.
Case Number 02118xxxxx.
RD: March, 05 2002
FP: June 04, 2003.

I register for the email update from the USCIS site and I did get the email notice for the approval. So it works.

Also, the online status message did not change after the FP. The online status was always the same 999 days one before the approval message.

One more thing, I just renew my EAD on Feb, and it got approved on March. I don't know if this triggered the approval.

One question, how long does it usually take to get the actual approval notice?
 
Congratulations! It sounds like a pretty smooth case for you. No RFE, no nothing.

Guys, while we are talking about the FP date theory, this one obviously does not fall into that category. I guess TSC is working on the case according to both FP and ND. If your FP is about to expire, they will make a decision on your case; at the mean time, if you ND is in the range of their processing dates, they will approve you too as far as your got your FP done. Hope this is true.
