I am very very happy to inform you all that we received the approval e-mails on 04/21/2006. The message says,
"
The following is the latest information on your case status
Receipt Number: EACXXXXXXXXX
Application Type: I485 , Application to Register Permanent Residence or
to Adjust Status
Current Status:
On April 21, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.
If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or
advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please
contact the National Customer Service Center. "
The brief history of my case goes here..
1) Applied Labour with Company A on Aug 2003 (EB3). State cleared and moved to BEC and received the 'Case closure notice' on Feb 2005 inspite of replying to 45 days letter.Tried two months to reopen the case ,Nothing worked.
2) Joined Company B and applied I140 using the matching EB2 (March 2002)Approved Labour for substitution.
3) To my surprise , My 140 got approved in two weeks and retorgression kicked on the same month.
4) Meanwhile, The old labour got reopened.
5) On 04/11/2006, I called VSC to know the case status.(Thanks for the tips to call VSC given by our forum friends). I was told that the visa numbers are available for our case and the decision would be made soon.No reply for the Name check question.
Thank you very much for all the support and invaluable informations given by all the forum friends.I pray to god that everyone on this forum should get the good news on their GC approvals asap.
