My case was approved on 9/26/01. Got the notice on 10/1/01 and I got the passport stamped on 10/3/01. I\'m so glad that finally its over after nearly 5.5 years. This board has been very informative and I wish every waiter the very best of luck.
Here are my case details:
PD: 6/1996, EB2 India
ND: 5/00
RD: 5/00
LIN#: 00-172-xxxxx
1st FP with employment letter sent : 01/01
I called INS to inquire about the case on 8/22/01. The IIO was very helpful and said my case had been sitting in wrong place and she would put it in production. Same day they sent me for another FP
2nd FP: 9/19/01
Approved on: 9/26/01
Mine may be the oldest PD case approved. If anybody is waiting since May, 00 I would advise them to call INS to ensure it gets processed. Things seemed to move after I called.

Good Luck. Your case w/LIN-00-117 approval gives people like me (LIN-00-245) some hope...
 
why the delay ??

Because PD is when he started his labor or I140. And ND is when
INS has officially entered his I-485 application in the system.
Between those dates is when his labor and I140 got processed and
there may be some wait time for his priority date to become current.

PD 06/96 was current in early/mid \'99, but the 485 was applied in April/May 2000. You mean LC and I-140 took 4+ years?
