Approval notice returned to INS - address change

My H1B approval notice was approved on Oct 29th and despatched to my attorney's address. But meanwhile my attorney had moved and so the approval notice was returned to INS by the post office. My attorney and myself sent a letter to INS updating our new address. I also managed to talk to Immigration officer at INS and they said I need to file I-824 form. But my attorney claims that this is not necessary and that they have spoken to the INS and the approval notice should come to their new address. If you notice is 2 months since my approval and still INS hasn't sent the approval to the new address.

My question is should I trust my attorney and wait or sumbit the I-824 form? My approval is until Feb 3rd 2003 and the timing is one of issues that weighs into this whole situation because it is time to file for another extension

Thanks in advance for your response.

If you moved? you needed to do file form AR-11.
As for I- 824. I think that after 2 months it is time to file it.
The INS hates to act like postal workers and it could be lost forever.
