I recently got my visa (non-profit H1B, not TN) to work at a health care organization in Philadelphia area. The job is pretty good and the compensation is significantly higher than what I have now in Canada. The current working mode is still working from home there. I want to move to Philadelphia for this job. The only thing which worries me a lot is the COVID-19 situation. Considering that I will need to go to quite a few places, such as finding a place to live, bank, DMV, cell phone store, etc., it increases the risks. I am just wondering if anyone who is in Philadelphia area can give me some inside information about the COVID-19 situation and some suggestions on relocation under such a unique situation.
