Anyone applied from Kansas City?

Hi All,

Has anyone applied for citizenship from KC? I just wanted to know what the timeline is like for KC.

I did ... from DOR to oath in 6 months (same for my wife). I was very happy with the KC DOS. I heard only the best from friends about that particular office and our experience was nothing but positive.

on record it says 3 months so in actual it takes longer?

some other offices like houston taking less than the published for few friends I know

Thanks for the info. Can you tell me when you applied and what the timeline for FP, Interview and Oath?

Let me see ... applied in October, Fingerprinting in December, Interview in March, Oath April 14th .... don't bother with counting days in comparision (If you watch the pot the water will never boil).

If your name check and background check will run without problem you will be voting in the November elections !

Hi Alex,

I appeared for Interview at kansas city DO on 3/13/06 and haven't received oath letter yet . Can you please tell me when you attended the interview and when you received oath letter? Thanks!

My dates - PD 10/31/05, FP 01/03/06, ID 3/13/06..oath - waiting

Application Date : 06/01/06
Receipt Date and PD : 06/05/06
NOA :06/09/06
NOA Received: 06/12/06
FP Notice Received: 06/17/06
FP Appointment: 07/06/06
Interview Notice Received:XX/XX/XX
Interview Date: XX/XX/XX
Oath Date: XX/XX/XX

In my NOA, it says that I have missing evidence(s) that need to be provided at the time of the interview. I will be notified through a separate NOA. Is this normal? I did not really send them anything other than what was asked in the application. Also, I have a couple of speeding tickets and in the application it was listed that I don't have to provide documentation for that. I don't have the documentation either.

Hopefully, everything goes quickly. I would love to vote this November. I have never voted in my whole life!!
