I-140 filed with RD of 12/12/2001 Assigned to Officer

I spoke with the IIO at VSC this afternoon. My I-140 was filed on 12/12/2001. I was informed that the case has been assigned to an office and is on his/her desk. It will take approximately another 4 weeks for a decision on the case.

I still don\'t understand as to how INS adjudicates the I-140\'s? FIFO method or LIFO method?

That is a good point. INS is doing LIFO and not FIFO.
They don\'t follow rule because they are the rule makers.
