J-1 Visa
So I'm a Chinese national. and I'm in Boston, holding a J-1 visa for a college exchange program at the moment.
At the same time, I'm also holding a government sponsored scholarship in Singapore, which requires a 6-year employment status under a Singapore registered company.
The problem is that this is my last semester, and I come by a job that the company could transfer me to its US office, which also fulfill the 6-year commitment according to my contract.
However, due to the bond, I will not be able to return to my home country.
I wonder what should I do with my situation.
Am I eligible to apply the No Objection Statement, since my stay in Boston is less than 6 months.
If not, is there other walk around, or I have to wait for 6+2=8 years before I can return to US on a H/L visa?
