Alien registration card for applying UI

Hi there,

I worked under TN before and got laid-off. I've changed to TD since my hubby is holding TN. And now I'm applying for Unemployment Insurance. But I was told that I need to provide alien registration card otherwise my money will be on hold.

My question here is, is the alien registration card referring to the green card only? would the TD be considered as an Allies Card? I remember saw some post before saying that Canadian is legal for applying for UI in US but couldn't find it. What kind of document do I need to provide?
