CSC 485 becoming current in April - Tracker

My Details are as below

PD: March 2002
Priority: EB2
I-140 - Approved
Name Check - Done (per the email from Mr. Williams)
I-485 : ???

Haven't enquired about the name check recently. Haven't got any second finger print notice either. We did our last finger print in August 2004.

Not very hopeful of getting the gc next month even though the date will become current.

LUD on 03/30/06

Just keeping all of you informed that I had an lud on 03/30/06 on 485, EAD & AP. Have filed AC21 last week, maybe they received that document and hence the update. Also speculating that maybe the lawyer also send AP and EAD renewals too and hence the update on them too.

My signature has all the details and I have an email from M Bueno stating my name check is clear. Worried about the recent news of transfer of cases, though!

Obseverd an LUD on I-485 on March 28. No message change.There was NO initiation from my side, that could trigger LUD.
Not sure,why there is an LUD. do you think my file has got transferred? or think of any reason?

Hi Fellow GC expectants,

Just want to wish Best of Luck to all with current PD in April and Name check cleared. Hope we will see approvals in April ( I have obeserved that most of the approvals get done around 14-15th and then there is trickel of approvals)

Me too worried about transfer, No LUD so far for me.

May be I missed out on something but can someone tell me why they are transferring cases? I know they were going to transfer I-140 cases but haven't seen anything suggesting that the I-485 cases are going to be transffered.

Hi Hence4th

it seem CSC is transferring some I-140/485 cases to TSC in preperation to "bi-specialization" program and as usual there is lack of specific regarding specific of cases being transferred. Following are some details from Oh Law.

With reference to our report of this subject yesterdays, AILA reported today that USCIS HQ indicated that approximately 15,000 such cases are in the process of being transfered as part of the USCIS' preparation for the agency's "bi-specialization" program, whereby Service Centers will specialize in particular types of filings - two service centers handling all I-140 and related I-485 cases and the other two handling all I-129s. USCIS plans to issue an announcement detailing the bi-specialization program in the very near future. Please stay tuned.

Help me understand the email response

Hello folks,
I received a reply from CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov, which is as follows...
"Your case cannot resume processing at this time because according to
the
Dept. of State's visa bulletin for April 2006, 2nd Preference India's
cut-off date is 07/01/2002 or earlier. Accordingly, the priority date
in this case is 02/06/2003. Therefore, a visa is not currently
available to you. We will continue to monitor the visa bulletin on a
monthly basis and will complete the adjudication of your case when a
visa becomes available. Thank you."

Can this reponse be interpreted as completion of name check/ background check?

My case is current from 1st April. PD May 2002.Do you know usually how long it will take to get any kind of response from CSC.

My PD became current in April Visa Bulletin. Case details below.

I sent an inquiry email to CSC XII 485 [CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov] last week (3/28/06) and got the following response today (4/4/06):

"The Principal applicants I-485 is still pending FBI name check clearance. Once the file has been cleared by FBI, all the riding applicants and principal will be adjudicated. The Service has NO control over how long it takes FBI to clear the case."

Finger Prints

Our Finger Printing was done in March 2005 (don't remember the exact date but some time in 2nd/3rd week)
 
Waiting for Spouse to join m 485

Hi Team,

I applied for 485 in September 22, 2005 and I got married in Feb 2006 and now my wife is in India. She has an H4 visa appointment in 2nd week of April and If everything goes well, she will be in US in 3rd week of April. As you guys know I should not get 485 approvals before she enters in to US. Here my question is, what are the chances of getting my 485 approval? I am tensed about my situation, please advise me.


Here are my details:

I-485 Priority Date: Feb 2002
I-485 Received Date: September 28, 2005
I-140 Approved: June 2, 2005
EAD approved: November 15, 2005
AP approved: November 8, 2005

Please through some light on my case.
