Age Change

I came to the US in 2001 as a refugee from Sudan. I was one of the Lost Boys of Sudan. The UN assigned my birthdate as 01 Jan 1982, but I believe I was actually born in 1967. Is it possible to get my age corrected now? I will be able to provide medical evidence and family testimony to substantiate that my birth year is not 1982, and is probably 1967. There were no official records kept in Sudan at the time I was born. The UN used 01 Jan as birth date for refugees in the camps and they guessed at the year. They guessed wrong in my case.

Is it urgent to do so? Given the category you are posting in, I’m assuming you’ve naturalized. Given that the current administration has touted how they want to denaturalize people for lying on immigration /citizenship applications, I’m not sure this is something I’d personally why to bring to authorities’ attention right now, regardless of the initial circumstances. (Under any other administration I would say it probably wouldn’t be fine as there were no crimes involved, but right now I’d personally consider it risky.)
