After how long can I check the case status in USCIS website?

Hi, I posted the same question in I-140 forum. My apologizes if you see the questions twice.

My emoploer filed my wife and my I-140 and I-485 concurrently. I got several official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) on Jan 28, 2011. Today (Feb 15, 2011), I checked the "case status" in USCIS website using my receipt numbers (SRC1190xxxxxx) but none of them can be found in the system.

Is this normal? In your cases, how long did you wait to get the first case stauts update in the USCIS website?

If you have a case number, you should be able to track it immediately.
Call USCIS National Benefits Center. Maybe they can give you more information.
