My wife to be is currently on an F-1 visa in the US and I am in my 485 stage where the case is still not been approved (RD June 15, 2002), so I would like to get married as soon as possible and put her on my application. She does not have a birth certificate - what are the requirements for an affidavit of birth- does it have to be issued by an official body in the city of birth or it could be issued in another city but stating the date and place of birth.
