My husband and I were stationed in Germany where we had a child at Frankfurt Army hospital in 1985. We came home on emergency leave a few days after he was born.We were given a form 360 in order to take my son out of the country. My husband and I divorced a few years after returning to the States. My son is now 34, we have been using the form 360 as a birth certificate. It wasnt until he tried to apply for a passport that we found out this form would work. We sent information to State officials for an official record and none could be found. I've recently spoke to my ex husband and he informed me that he had gotten the record from the German consulate. Is there any way I can get an actual legitimate birth certificate for my son?
