Hello everyone,
I am currently working on my immigration strategy and have been exploring both EB-1 and National Interest Waiver (NIW) pathways. I know each has its own criteria, but I am curious about how other applicants evaluate which route is stronger for their profile.
Specifically, I would love to get feedback on:
I’ve helped a few colleagues review their credentials for EB-1 and NIW, and I would be happy to share insights or answer questions based on my experience.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and learning from your experiences!
Thank you!

Specifically, I would love to get feedback on:
- How do you determine whether your achievements are better suited for EB-1A extraordinary ability vs NIW?
- In terms of publications, citations, awards, and professional memberships, which areas tend to have the most impact for each category?
- Are there common pitfalls you have noticed when applicants try to apply under both categories?
