Advantages of Early FP ?

My spouse and I have got our FP notice for end of Nov 2004 (in 8 weeks)

I see a lot of people going to the Boston office and providing FP early.

Does it help in processing of I-485 applications by doing early FP?
Or is it just wise to delay until notice date, so we dont have to do second FP?

Seems like peope who filed I485 during June 2003 time frame are getting their 485 approved within couple of days after FP1

So are there any advantages of getting a FP1 done early
 
This is a guess, but I'd have to guess that getting it done early, when possible, would speed things up. When we filed our 485s in March of 03 they sent us FP notices immediately almost. Getting them done early would have been a waste of time. They were just making sure that we weren't criminals. However, if your 485 is being looked at with an eye for adjudication (ours had not been pending long enough for that), then if they send out the FP they simply can't do anything with your 485 until they get back a response, so if an FP gets to them earlier, it makes sense to think that they could adjudicate eariler as well.
