Address change as a PR

Hi:

I just moved to a new job out of state. The rest of my family is still living at our old address. So I am living in a temporary housing for a month. I may have to stay in a hotel after the lease of rental house ending and before my permanent house is settled.

Do I need to file AR-11 with all my temporary staying? Or should I wait till I have a permanent address and my family joints me here? Thanks.

Do the Driver's license test? Are you changing your DL now or later. When you decide to do this, then send in AR-11.

There is nothing, however, that prevents you from sending several consecutive AR-11 to reflect where you are living. Do this on-line for free.

They don't look at AR-11s for years, so I wouldn't worry about waiting until your settled.

The AR-11 does allow for one to give a temporary address, but I don't see the value of doing anything until settled, as TC sez.
