hi all i would really appreciate any help with these questions.
i have some quetions regarding the additional evidence required at the visa inetrview.my wife lives in boston.we recently got married in march in our home country of dominica.we have known each other fro 7 years but only got serious about 2 years ago.we met in st.lucia in october of last year(first meeting since she left dominica 5 years ago).in st.lucia we decided that we wanted to get married & spend the rest of our lives together.my question is:

1.since we only met once before we got married is this a major issue?
2.we have emails we sent each other last year, pic from vacation in st.lucia, receipts from money she sent me,wedding pics, phone records....will these be adequate?
3.also read that we should have joint bank statements etc.....since we just got married & never lived together are we rquired to provide these?

Gather as much evidence as you can. Do you live together or in different states? I guess if you don't live together you will have to explain why and find other ways to prove that your marriage is bona fide

Unfortunately, due to all of the abuse and fraudulent behavior this visa program sees, the process has become much more difficult in recent years. I would advise you to seek out a lawyer who is familiar with these processes and run these questions by them. Your best bet is to call a few until you find one that is willing to give you a few minutes of their time, and ask them these questions. They may not want to answer, but if you find one that is willing you can get some very helpful information from them.
