Accident was a problem for Citizenship application?

Hi,

Couple days ago, when i was standing on the street waiting for my wife one lady hit my car back. I called the police for report for insurance purpose. She said i suddenly stop which is lie. They did report. Is it problem for citizenship, because within couple months i will have interview. Thanks
 
Even if you did suddenly stop, it’s her fault for following too close to stop in time. (Assume your brake lights are working and you didn’t stop somewhere you weren’t supposed to)

Anyway it’s an accident with no suggestion of criminal liability and you did the right thing re reporting to police. Shouldn’t be a problem.
 
If you get a ticket from the police, then say yes to the question about having gotten a citation; it won't have any effect. If not, and it's just a civil liability process (regardless of who has liability), that's not asked on the N-400 and won't have any effect regardless.
 
The fact that she thought saying you suddenly stopped would absolve her from liabilty. Is really funny

Ull be fine. She basically copped to being at fault. Lol
