Hi,

When I asked my previous employer's lawyer for LC copy, he sent me a doc titled "Application for Alient Employment Certification". Is LC called like this? At the bottom of the first page, it has Occ Code and Occ title.

Is there a separate LC approval notice?

if whatever you've got from your lawyer looks like this: http://workforcesecurity.doleta.gov/foreign/pdf/eta750a.pdf, then it is ETA-750 form, which is so-called Labor Certification application. There should be a separate approval notice. Its original was used with I-140 filing, but your lawyer should have retained a copy.

I don't think there is a separate approval notice for LC. The certifying officer places a stamp and signs/dates in the box inside the four dots on the bottom half of ETA-750. That's all there is to Labor Certification. This certified ETA-750 is what is used to file I-140.
At least in my case I did not receive any other approval notice and the stamped ETA-750 is what was submitted for I-140.

Yes, there is a stamp in the ETA750 and that is what I got from the lawyer.
