Hi All,

I have a question and I need some guidence here.three years ago, I came on fulbirght grant where I did a MS degree meanwhile, I got my pharmay license done. Although the no objection statement seems the safest and less hardest way, It is nearly impossible to get it from my country (Middle Eastern country). I am wondering if it would be possible for me to get a waiver based on the state or fedral gov interest. Are foreign pharmacists (on J1 Visa) eligible for the J1 2 HHR waiver if they accept to serve in "Health Professional Shortage Areas" they also refer to it as "Medically Underserved Areas"? For example, if i found a job in CVS or Walgreens in these areas or a small rural hospital, can they legally apply for a waiver based on the public interest. if not would be there any different means to get the waiver? and Do you know some good attornys who have an experience with these kinds of issues?

Thanks guys; i know that there is too much hussle about this

Regards,
