how many people here have RD earlier than Nov,2001 and not approved yet? mine is in oct,2001, rfe response was received on March 6, 2003, still nothing...

Mine is 9/13/01 and I have not even received an RFE yet. I don't know if that is good or bad. We had our fingerprints taken on 1/17/02 and at that time I had thought that our files were moving at a faster pace relative to others with a similar RD. I was fondly expecting the process to end by June or July 2002. Little did I realize it was a case of the proverbial hare losing out to all the tortoises!!

... the central (800) number of BCIS?

I have been reading on this forum that if your case is past 21 months, BCIS central service, initiates inquiery to the NSC (or whichever the center be) for the status.

Is there any one waiting for that long after rfe response....
 
My RD is Sept 28 '01. Did not receive any RFE, I don't know if this is a good or bad. I am applying for my 3rd EAD and AP this week.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did call them a couple of weeks back and they said they would initiate an inquiry, and that I should expect to hear from the NSC in 4 weeks.

went for Special registeration on Feb 15th
(from Pakistan)

2nd FP done in mid May
FP results recvd by INS in early June

and the HOUR-GLASS just continues to eat-up my resources.

I am clueless what is going on with my case. I called twice. Our attorney office called twice. We were repeated the same messages from the online status every time. Before I saw this thread, I was convinced that they lost my file. I am not a very happy person today.
