2nd AOS interview; pending FBI name check

Hi
I had my first AOS interview (marriage based) on March 30th. The officer said FBI name check is pending and could not make a decision. She did not have any further questions/ asked for more info.
Today I got a letter from the regional office (San Jose) for 2nd interview "because of pending 485 application" asking for the same paperwork we already submitted.
Has anyone gone through that? What is the reason for this second interview. Is it because the name check was pending?
Any input is welcome.

Could be for a number of reasons. Best case, they just want to clean something up with you before approving your case. Worst case, stokes interview.

What is the reason for this second interview.
