2013 June N-400 Tracker

Got two mobile updates today that my status has been updated but only one actual change to the status - my application was placed in the oath scheduling que. Anybody else had an e-mail or text sent to them without any physical change on the website?

Sent application - 6/25/13 (Chicago)
NOA - 7/9/13
FP - 7/25/13
Interview scheduled - 8/12/13
Interview passed - 9/19/13

My interview will be on Sep 30. I ha e a question.
What should I wear for my interview? Someone told me you can't wear jean, is that true?

Oath on 10/1/13 in Chicago! Got two letters instead of one, just yesterday. Strange that they sent oath letters just two days before the event. The address is different from the interview place. Did anyone else in Chicago experience that?

I passed my interview on 09/23/2013 and the officer said I will receive the letter in 2 months, is that just standard procedure or is Los Angeles really going to take that long for the oath?

Hi,

I am coming late. I went to my interview last week. Everything was smooth, and the lady was serious but very friendly.

The test was easy.
The only minor complication was was we had moved to a different state (I was being interviewed in the new state, so no problem there...in fact uscis acted more efficiently than I expected in sending our material to the new state).

At the end she said do you want to give me anything you have brought with you...but when I wanted to give my stuffs to her she said something like "don't bother...you don't need to if I have it here..." Anyways I gave her our new lease agreement and a new bill just in case.

But then, she said "I should look into your case more closely," which took me by surprise. Now I regret not giving her more documents to make my case doubt-proof.
But even then she said I'll probably be taking the oath in mid-october.

Another weird thing was that their computers were not working so they asked everybody to come back in a couple of days for photo+fingerprint, which I did.

Now, the problem is, after a week nothing has changed online. It is still in the test/interview stage. Is that normal? should I do anything?

btw, this was a 3-year period application based on marriage to a usc.

Applied: Early June, 2013

Passed interview today; staff and IO were efficient and courteous; in and out of the building in under 20 min

Congratulations! You should get an oath letter within week. Chicago is pretty quick when it comes to that.

Hey thanks! The IO told me I would likely be having the ceremony at my local town as I live in central IL. So, fingerprint+interview+ceremony all at different places, haha :D

guys my oath is scheduled for 10/23/2013 woohoo!!!

I would like to thank this forum for all the help in informal immigration info and help with uscis contact info without which my journey to citizenship would be longer than now.
