Os far my(N-400 {NJ}) experience:

05/28/2011: N-400 Mailed to Lewisville, TX via UPS Express
05/31/2011: Application received, Confirmation got through return receipt

I did not know , how Iam going to track that information. Money order cashed.

Ok , I sent my Application a week after you did, will let you know when I get my FP letter, Do likewise if you can

So far I did not get any information from USCIS expect return receipt.
If there is any inputs , please share ..

I sent N-400 on May 28th ..

Is it normal ?

I sent N-400 to the Lewisville, TX via usps (express mail) on May 28th with $680.00 Money Order.
So far i received only return receipt from uscis saying , post received on 31st May.

I have not been received any think other than return receipt.

Is it ok ? Other wise should i contact uscis office?

I would sincerely appreciate , if any body have related experience.

relax its waaaaay to early......I only got a text because i signed up for text alerts....It takes a while to get an FP letter

Did you send form G-1145 for email or text notification alongside your N-400 application? If not you have no other choice other than wait for them to send you the Receipt Notice. I think you should still wait a few more days, my Notice didn't come until the tenth day. But of course by next week you should definitely receive it. Good luck!

Here is the updates about my case, yesterday i got I-797C (Notice of Action)

05/28/2011: N-400 Mailed to Lewisville, TX UPS Express
05/31/2011: Application received
05/31/2011: Priority date
06/02/2011: Notice date
06/10/2011: NOA I-797C received in mail

kahuni98, Please give advise , what i need to do like any preparation to fulfill to next coming steps ?

Great , next step is to wait for the finger print letter, once you recieve it you can take it to do an "early walk in" to get the prints done early...I heard that somewhat hastens the process...

Please follow the instructions on the notice

Oath Ceremony

I planning collect the all traffic violation tickets and penalty paid proofs from courts.
And also collect the date of birth certifications . Iam not clear date of berth certificates need or not

As incognegro said you can try a walk in to do your fingerprints when you receive the notice in about 3 to 7 days approximately and they will give you a booklet and a cd there to help you study for your civics/history test during your interview. Basically besides trying the walk in for fingerprints or wait for date on the notice there is nothing else for you to do other than sit back and wait and monitor your progress online.

Road to the U.S. Citizenship for the second time. N-400 first denied in 2001 (Reason: Lack of Good Moral). Good luck to me this time...
 
Wooooow, TEN years wait?? And some of us can't even wait for a few months, impressive and good luck this time around!

I know...I was not in rush to apply again. My wife (from 1997 to present) is U.S. Citizen...even though I had my GC (on my own) the day I entered U.S. via NYC back in 1993. I made mistake last time on my N-400 application on the arrest/prison question when I first applied. I said NO to the arrest/prison question. The Immigration Officer asked me if I was arrested and jailed..I said NO. According to her, I should have said YES since I was arrested and emprisoned (held) for ONE DAY at the police station for a domestic violence (with my ex-gf..in 1994). I was not honest in my application and during the interview. It was a big mistake learned. So far, no more trouble since 1994.

[09] 05/11/2011 : Received I-797C (NOA). Priority dated 05/04
[21] 05/23/2011 : Email from USCIS, FP notice mailed.
[24] 05/26/2011: Received FP notice
[24] 05/26/2011: Completed FP (Early walk-in)
[49] 06/20/2011: Received Yellow Letter. YL dated 06/16
[] MM/DD/YYYY: Received email regarding change of status to Testing and Interview
[] MM/DD/YYYY: Received Interview Letter
[] MM/DD/YYYY: Interview Date
 
I got an email update last week - status changed to "testing and interview." wiiw, timing of IL seems to vary. Interesting that you received YL before your status change.
