180 days problem!!!!

Hi, guys:
    I got laid off after 180 days of my received date.
My question is :
   1. Can I just use my EAD card to work for new empoyer?
   2. Can I extend my EAD card before approval based on new empolyer?
      What kind of materials should I provide to INS?

What exactly is the problem :)

As I understand it use EAD to get new job in the same classification and same salary (or at least over the LC limit). Some people say INS should be notified by sending letter from new employer. Anyway have letter ready. Extend EAD at your leisure.

Note that I am not a lawyer, you may want to consult your legal counselor (or get one just in case).
