140 and 485 Denials and EAD Status

Hi All

My wife got an job offer in Dec 2004 and she is working on EAD from Dec 2004 , and I got I 140 and 485 Denial in Jan 15th for Education Qualiifcations.
and I talked to my attorney and he said she can work on EAD for limited time. And we opened MTR within 33 days. I got approval on April 8th for my I140 . I m little worried abt my wife who worked on EAD during the denial period.
I looked in forums some say EAD and AP will be valid for one year and some say it is illegal to work

Do not worry

Your attorney is right.
Besides any violation of status after filing AOS (like unauthorized work) immaterial for the purpose of adjustment.
