Need a good advise.
Here is my situation. Company applied for EB1-OR
I-140 RD 05/21/02 - no AD (VSC)
I-485, EAD, AP - RD 10/03/02
Fingerprints taken.
EAD and AP aproved 11/03/02
Got laid off from the company in April 2003. Have more than 180 days with the company after I-485 filed.
Here are my questions
1. Can I use EAD card to work for another company?
2. Is my case still good, if I get a job in the same area, but at the university (smaller salary)?
3. Should I do self petition as Outstanding Researcher? Will I need to re-file I-485 as well?
4. Can I start working for university based on EAD and apply for H1B to cover in case I-140 denied or revoked?
Would appreciate any sensible thoughts. Good references on sources would be greatly appreciated as well
