The wait is over. The AVM indicated that I was approved on September 17, that the notification was mailed, and that it should be received within 14 days. Although my wife\'s application has not been approved yet, it should be soon.

I checked the AVM on Sept 18 and heard I was approved on Sept 17. I don\'t know when it was assigned to an officer, although when I spoke last week to an IIO, she politely told me that my case was pending - and knew nothing else.
